ABOUT OUR ORGANIZATION

Here at Scars and Stripes Inc., we see the value in fighting for those who fought for us. We want to be a catalyst for positive change in the veteran community. Since our beginning in 2023, we’ve been driven by the same ideas we initially founded our Social Welfare Organization upon: support, empowerment and progress towards change for veterans and their families.

Dealing with the challenges of today requires problem-solvers who bring different perspectives and are willing to take risks. Scars and Stripes Inc., emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support the community, and a desire for actions to speak louder than words. Our organization was founded on passion and personal experience that sparked a desire for change for generations to come.

ABOUT OUR TEAM

JARED EAKIN

Executive Director

Bachelor's level Social Work student with prior Associate's level Social Work Degree completion. Aiming to obtain a Masters in Suicidology or Social Work. Years of personal and professional experience in substance abuse, suicide prevention, crisis response, veteran community development and intervention.

TAYLER EAKIN

Operating Officer

Licensed Certified Social Worker with years of experience in the field of Mental Health and Substance Abuse. Special training in crisis intervention, crisis response, risk assessment, suicide prevention and intervention. Specialized training in EMDR, Fordham Risk Assessment, and AMSR.

ALYSSA HARDING

Financial Officer

Masters level Accountant with a Bachelor's in Business Administration. Specialized training in payroll, tax, accounting, business administration, finance management, audit, and program development. Working towards obtaining CPA certification.
